Jeff Wharton is a Velo Schils original, having been with the renowned brand since the shop first opened all the way back in 1997. Jeff has over 30 years of experience in all things bike and excels in all aspects of cycle mechanics.
His true passion is, and always has been wheel building, and he uses this passion with his years of experience when perfecting his art and conviction for building the perfect wheel.
Jeff can build wheels for cyclists of all ages and abilities, from the elite road racer and sportive rider to the off-road rebel and those cyclists just getting into the sport.

Velo Schils bike shop is a family-run business with exceptional cycling experience and knowledge being founded by ex-Belgian National Champion Jef Schils with his passion for cycling continued today by his son Patrick Schils and his family. They moved from a wholesale business to a retail shop in 1997, and with this family business growing and flourishing over the years, they now have an in-house elite racing team and cycling club. Velo Schils is renowned for its quality custom-built bikes, events, and all of the products they sell in-store, as well as their excellent servicing and repairs. Above all, they love to share their passion for cycling with all their friends and customers and are proud to have so much experience, history, and knowledge of the bike trade, and love advising and passing on this knowledge when helping their customers make the right choice.
